Extra warm, lightweight and packable winter sleeping bag. It reliably keeps you warm during overnight stays down to –40 °C. Multiple down chambers ensure even heat distribution and reliable warmth.
Exped product developers have given the Ultra XP, like its little brother Ultra -20°, an extra-wide cut to meet the demands of low temperatures. The elaborately designed and comfortable triangle footbox ensures warm toes even in double-digit minus temperatures. And an adjustable, elliptical thermal collar keeps the warmth where it should be – on the inside of the sleeping bag. The double down-filled cover that extends the entire length of the zipper eliminates heat loss in this critical area.
However, the focus of the Ultra series is not only on the insulation, Exped also uses only the finest-of-the-finest workmanship. Pertex Quantum, which consists entirely of recycled polyamide, is used as the outer and inner material. In the case of the Ultra XP, it is even DWR-impregnated and reliably water-repellent - bad weather and water vapour cannot easily harm the Ultra XP.
This makes the Ultra XP a sleeping bag for the toughest conditions - and the most demanding users. Expedition mountaineers, extreme winter bivouacers or even people planning a trip to the polar regions will find it a reliable partner. Note: despite its comprehensive features, the Ultra XP is incredibly light at 1680 g (size MW).
The Ultra XP is available in sizes S, MW and LW – so everyone will find the right version.
