Seilbakken LS - Mens

Seilbakken is made of yarn dyed stripes, with a yarn from SŸdwolle. The quality is a 50/50 blend of Merino and Tencel. TENCEL branded lyocell and modal fibers are produced by environmentally responsible processes from the sustainably sourced natural raw material wood. Mixed with fine merino, it makes the fiber stronger, while maintaining the breathability of wool. This is a quality they have tested for a few seasons now, and it is a keeper for sure. The Seilbakken Long Sleeved T-shirt is their take on the timeless, classic Breton striped top. The origin of this style comes from Bretagne in Nothern France, which explains their name. These stripes became part of the uniform for seamen in 1858, because they were easy to spot in a sea emergency. Since then, it has become a classic style that is here to stay. Picasso, James Dean and Andy Warhol, were all fans.
