The Valhalla Squamish Trail Fund gives back to Watersprite Lake – again!
Back in October 2020 emergency repairs were needed to the Watersprite Lake trail due to a blocked culvert causing flooding and erosion.
The BC Mountaineering Club rallied to make the repairs and the Fund supported the work by donating $2,000 towards the cost of heli-ing in a small excavator and work crew.
Thanks to all the BCMC volunteers who completed the trail building work. But a special thanks goes out to all of you who bought VPO branded gear in the Squamish store. All of the gross profit from those sales goes directly into the Trail Fund and into our local outdoor infrastructure. Your dollars went into this project and into the longevity of this iconic trail, so once again, thank you.
